เรื่องใหญ่ครับสำหรับชาว Affiliate amazon.comเพราะ 1 พฤษภาคมนี้เขาจะยกเลิก ไม่จ่ายเงินให้เราที่เราโฆษณาผ่านทาง PPC ทั้ง Google, Yahoo และ Search Engine อื่นๆ ซึ่งแน่นอนผลที่ตามมามากมาย โดยเฉพาะคนที่ทำกับ อเมซอน เป็นหลักและใช้ amazon.com เป็น URL ปลายทางนับจากวันที่ 1 พค.นี้ไปเขาจะยกเลิกหมด โดยให้เราทำ Landing Page เอง แล้วให้ทำ SEO เท่านั้นนอกจากนั้นอด รายละเอียดอ่านด้านล่างครับ

วันนี้ใครหลายๆ คนที่ทำ Amazon Affiliate โดยเฉพาะ PPC อยู่ คงจะได้รับอีเมล์จาก Amazon ที่ช็อคความรู้สึกพอสมควรนะครับเพราะทาง Amazon ระบุไว้ว่าหลังจากวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2552 นี้ จะยกเลิกการจ่ายเงินค่าคอมมิสชั่นให้กับ Affiliate ที่ทำโฆษณาผ่านทาง Paid Search ทั้ง Google, Yahoo และ Search Engine อื่นๆ ดังเนื้อหาด้านล่างครับ

Dear amazon Associate:

We’re writing to let you know about a change to the Amazon Associates Program. After careful review of how we are investing our advertising resources, we have made the decision to no longer pay referral fees to Associates who send users to www.amazon.com, www.amazon.ca, or www.endless.com through keyword bidding and other paid search on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines, and their extended search networks. If you're not sure if this change affects you, please visit this page for FAQs.As of May 1, 2009, Associates will not be paid referral fees for paid search traffic. Also, in connection with this change, as of May 1, 2009, Amazon will no longer make data feeds available to Associates for the purpose of sending users to the Amazon websites in the US or Canada via paid search.This change applies only to the Associates programs in North America. ซึ่งกฏใหม่นี้จะใช้เฉพาะกับ www.amazon.com, www.amazon.ca และ www.endless.com เท่านั้นครับ ส่วนเว็บไซต์ Amazon ในประเทศอื่นๆ เช่น อังกฤษ ฝรั่งเศส เยอรมัน ยังไม่มีข่าวอะไรออกมาในเรื่องนี้ ใครที่ทำโฆษณา Amazon ในประเทศเหล่านี้เป็นหลักก็ยังไม่กระทบอะไรมากครับข่าวนี้ก็เป็นข่าวร้ายพอสมควรกับใครหลายๆ คนที่ทุ่มโฆษณาหนักใน Amazon.com นะครับ แต่ก็ขอให้มองโลกในแง่ดีไว้ครับว่า ช่วงเวลานี้ก็เป็นอุปสรรคอีกอย่างหนึ่งที่เราต้องก้าวข้ามไปให้ได้ครับ และเมื่อเราผ่านจุดนี้ไปได้ เราย่อมต้องเก่งขึ้น เข้มแข็งขึ้นครับหนทางในการเดินไปข้างหน้ายังเปิดกว้างให้เราอีกมากครับ เช่น

1. ทำโฆษณา Amazon ในประเทศอื่น เช่น อังกฤษ เยอรมัน ฝรั่งเศส แทนโดยเฉพาะในอังกฤษที่มีคนซื้อสินค้าจาก Amazon มากรองจากในอเมริกา

2. ทำการสร้าง Landing Page ขึ้นมา เพื่อโฆษณา Amazon.com แทนที่จะส่งไปยังเว็บ Amazon โดยตรง

3. ลองทำโฆษณาเว็บไซต์ที่มีอีกมากมายใน Affiliate Network ต่างๆดู
